Samsung Adds AI Features to Smart TVs
Samsung has announced that it will be adding more AI features to its smart TVs, including the integration of the popular chatbot ChatGPT.
The announcement came during the Samsung Developer Conference (SDC). Although the company did not provide many details, it did provide some important information about its future plans.
Samsung is focusing its strategy on spreading AI across all its devices, as it will work to enhance the capabilities of the Bixby personal assistant in TVs.
The development of the Bixby assistant will include improving content search, customizing settings easily, and users will be able to describe the type of content they want to watch, and Bixby will take care of finding it, in addition to managing the company's other smart devices.
The company also announced a new feature called Samsung AI Cast, which allows AI results to be easily transferred from Galaxy phones to Samsung TVs.
This feature will enable users to display AI-generated content, such as text and images, on the big screen.
ChatGPT is expected to be integrated into Samsung TVs via the Samsung AI Cast feature, so that users can interact with ChatGPT via their phones and see the results on the TV.
Samsung has not set an exact date for the launch of these features, but they may arrive in the coming months, indicating that artificial intelligence will soon become part of the user experience in the Korean company's smart TVs as part of its strategy to provide these features on a wide scale.
