Juris-M: Free Reference Manager for Legal Scholars and Legal Practitioners
Juris-M is an advanced reference manager tailored specifically for legal scholars and practitioners. Building on the foundation of Zotero, Juris-M adds unique features that address the complexities of legal citation and multilingual research, making it an indispensable tool for managing legal documents and references.
Its advanced citation support, multilingual capabilities, and integration with Zotero make it an essential resource for managing legal research efficiently.
Jurism citations are generated by CSL-M, an extended version of the Citation Style Language (CSL) relied upon by Zotero and other leading document systems. The features added by CSL-M permit the accurate formatting of citations from multiple jurisdictions, as well as multilingual citation styles.
The CSL-M styles listed to the right can be installed (or reinstalled) in a running Jurism client by clicking on their links in a browser (Chrome or Firefox) that has the Jurism Connector extension installed.
Note that each JM style is capable of correctly rendering legal references for all jurisdictions. They differ only in decorative formatting and backreferencing conventions.
